About Gildner's H-D®
It All Started With a Boy and a Dream
At the age of 15 Ken (Fuzzy) got his first motorcycle, a Whizzer, then a Triumph and a Ducati. In 1963 at the age of 23, Ken started Gildner's H-D® where he carried BSA, Hodka, and Bridgestone. In 1968 he started selling OSSA, Rickman, and Norton and then in the 1970s he took on Triumph. In 1980 Ken took on Harley-Davidson® and since then Gildner's Cycle has grown to be Gildner's H-D®. We have added many additions on through the years to accommodate the growing sport of motorcycling.
My parents worked multiple jobs to make this dream happen. Hard work and dedication and they instilled that in all of their daughters. They are excellent role models. I love that we are still a mom and pop shop. When you come to our dealership around lunch time you will find us eating at the parts counter, many of our customers come and join us for lunch. We enjoy having them come and visit with us. We appreciate the loyalty our customers hae shown us to keep us going. We are not trying to get rich. We are just trying to provide a good life for our families and employees. Thank-you for supporting small business like us.
Gildner's H-D® is conveniently located near the areas of Rose City, Sterling, Harrison, and Whittemore.
